Packhood launched in the UK because we were fed up with paying through the nose for soulless storage units in every town from London to Leeds.
Like you, we've lived in flats where the spare room became the "storage room." We've helped our parents clear out garages packed to the rafters with memories. We've seen mates trying to figure out where to put everything during a house move, a renovation, or after a loved one has passed.
The options were always the same. A skip, a charity shop, or an overpriced Big Yellow unit on the outskirts of town.
We knew there had to be a better way. A local way. A more human way.
All around us, in every neighbourhood, there are thousands of empty, under-utilised spaces. Garages sitting empty. Attics gathering dust. Spare rooms waiting for a purpose.
What if we could connect the people who have space with the people who need it? What if you could store your things safely just down the road, at a neighbour's place?
That's why we built Packhood.
