Is this counted as subletting?
No. Storage hosting is a service contract for renting space to store items; your business retains possession and control of the premises. Subletting transfers possession; Packhood does not.
How does VAT work?
VAT-registered hosts charge VAT on the rental; Packhood's 5% commission is also subject to VAT in qualifying jurisdictions. Issued invoices include the breakdown automatically.
Are commercial renters insured separately?
Standard items are covered up to €25,000 + €100,000 host liability. Renters declare contents value at booking; items above the standard cover require renter-side commercial insurance, which we verify before the booking confirms.
Can I host space in a leasehold premise?
Most commercial leases allow incidental storage use; some require landlord consent for any sub-licence. Check your lease before listing. The responsibility to comply sits with you.
What's the typical booking length?
