The all-in price you see is the price you pay.

Renters: the displayed listing price already includes a 20% Packhood service fee — never added on top at checkout. Hosts: free to list, 5% commission on each booking, Stripe Connect payouts. Every booking includes the Packhood Host Guarantee for damage to the host's space.

What you actually pay

All-in monthly price
The listing price is what Stripe charges each month — VAT-inclusive where applicable. There are no extra fees added at checkout, no booking fees, no surprise line items.

Packhood service fee
A 20% service fee is built into the displayed listing price — that's how Packhood funds the platform, payments, and Host Guarantee on the renter side. It's not added on top at checkout; you only ever pay the price you see.

Host Guarantee
Every booking includes Host Guarantee cover for renter-caused damage to the host's space, aggregate per booking. Renters may also arrange their own contents insurance for high-value items.

Payment hold
When you click Book Now, Packhood places a temporary hold (via Stripe) for the first month's amount. The hold is captured when the host accepts. SCA / 3-D Secure may apply.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe. Bank posting typically 5–10 business days.
